Story Fletcher:
Story is deserving of the Michael the Arch Angel Award because she is a champion for students. If she notices a student is alone, she is there to comfort them. Story is always there to support her peers whenever it is needed. I have observed students that are upset and Story will go out of her way to advocate and solve the issue for those students in need. She does this out of the kindness of her heart because she is so caring for all of God's creation. Story lives our school's mission day in and day out. She is deserving of this award for all that she brings to our school.
Mr. Stokes:
Mr. Stokes has worked so hard to help his students progress in Math, from summer courses to letting kids zoom in if absent. Mr. Stokes has helped my daughter fill in some of the gaps of her math skills and has been vital to her success. She loves all her junior high teachers and always is excited to be in school, but has, for the first time ever, thrived in and been excited to learn math. We love his program. She also loves Mr. Stokes bread incentives. He is the best baker ever as well as a math teacher.
Ava McFall:
Ava is often stuck at school for extra hours. She makes the most of this time by helping teachers, helping with student dismissals, assisting in EDP, and often doing small tasks for the front office. Ava is also willing to help our smallest learners when she sees them struggling in the hallway or on the playground. She is often a soft place to fall on a tough day for our PreK and Kindergartners. It’s all these small acts of service and kindness that add up, making Ava especially deserving of this award. She is a blessing to me and often brings laughter and joy to my day.
Remember, anyone from our community can be nominated for the award all year long!
