The Advent Season
The word “advent” originates from the Latin word “adventures,” which means “coming.” For those in the Catholic faith, Advent is the four-week season preparing for Christmas. In the Advent season, we prepare for the coming of Jesus. Advent can be a time of peaceful reflection, excitement, and hope.
In preparation for the Advent season which begins this coming Sunday, December 2, 2018, we will be spending time here at school in reflection and prayer of hope.
