On February 19, fourth through eighth grade went on a ski trip to Nordic Valley. Nordic Valley allowed us to bring seventh and eighth grades, which allowed all students to ski and snowboard together for the day. It was a great day -- it snowed most of the time while we were on the mountain. Some students had never been skiing or snowboarding before, so it was an excellent way for them to learn. Students that had been skiing and snowboarding before were allowed to go on the lift up to harder slopes with their instructors. We all had a great time, and we are lucky to be able to experience winter activities so close to us. After students had returned their rental gear, the staff in the Rental Shop gave lots of compliments about our students. One staff member said that our school had some of the best-behaved students they had ever had. Students were very polite and waited to be helped before they left the rental shop.
