As part of our observance of Veterans Day, our Casual For A Cause in November is for the Fisher House in Salt Lake City. For a $3 donation students may wear free dress on Wednesday, November 9th.

Our students had a great morning exploring the Saint Joseph's campus in Ogden. They sampled classes, engaged with their students, joined an assembly, and even got a "back stage" tour. Be sure to ask your 7th/8th graders about the Saint Joseph smaller school difference, Personalized Learning through Relationships & Connection! With 3 great high schools to choose from, we hope our students experience an intro to the personalities of each. Principal Clay Jones sends families this message. "We want to thank Mr. McFall and all of the 7th and 8th graders who came to the St. Joseph Campus today, it is very exciting getting to connect with your school community again! It is our goal to provide your community with an information night in the near future so that parents can, "grill the principal" with any questions they may have about our St. Joseph community! Please join our parish community for a fabulous Benefit Concert on November 12 @ 7 PM. Help the parish raise funds for a needed new piano that will enhance our already great music program, both for the church and school!

Thank you to all who attended and worked to bring to life this event on campus last Friday evening. With over 60 Amazing cars, and close to 1000 guests, it keeps getting bigger and better every year! October's Casual for a Cause is Wednesday, October 12th. Students may donate $3 to wear non-uniform school appropriate clothes for the day. All money will be donated to the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Primary Children’s Hospital inspired by one of our parishioners, Bonnie. Her family story is why we are so passionate about donating to this cause that is near and dear to her heart. (click to read more)

Stats heading into the weekend:
-We are 1/3 of the way to our minimum goal of $30,000 with over $10,000 raised for new playground equipment
-90 of 140 students have registered with 41% of those students with at least 1 pledge
-Currently, 35% of pledges are from parents, 65% from grandparents, extended family, friends, and co-workers
-Pledges have come from 13 States
-We have an amazing community and are so grateful for the many family, friends, co-workers, and contacts who have donated to this fun event for a great cause!

We were blessed and fortunate to welcome, in person, Author Kaela Rivera this past Thursday afternoon. We first met Ms. Rivera via zoom during Read Across America Week in March of 2022. Ms. Cowan introduced Kaela’s first book to our community soon after it was released the previous year, in 2021. After her zoom with our students in March, she ended by saying she’d love to meet our students in person.
