The Sun Sets and a Farewell is Upon Us

If you haven't had an opportunity yet, be sure to bid farewell to Mr. McFall who is off to a new adventure after 7 years of faithful service to the Saint Olaf Community. Though some may not know or remember, in his time, the strings program began, a priest left and Father Andrzej joined the community, teachers came and went, Covid struck the world and Saint Olaf remained open for families, a much needed school counselor and speech and language pathologist joined the community, the middle school almost doubled, playground upgrades were implemented, the gymnasium was updated, the basement spaces were upgraded, a teacher lounge and dedicated EDP space was created, and the majority of the capital campaign funding was raised with the beautiful new addition built. Although the kitchen remains to be completed, the funds are raised and the plans are complete. The parish and school work in harmony for the good of the community and we are so grateful that Mr. McFall leaves the school in a much stronger position than he found it. We pray that those who follow Mr. McFall steward Saint Olaf Catholic School with the love and dedication that the previous principals have, recognizing the special and unique placement of this parish school in the heart of Davis County. Thank you Mr. McFall!
