It's Catholic Schools week! We have many fun days planned for the students as we celebrate our Parish, our Community, our Students, the Nation, Vocations, our Faculty and our Families with the rest of Catholic Schools across the country. We can't wait to see what our students come up with each day.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 13th, is 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗘. This Casual for a Cause will help fund a Scholarship for a current 8th grade Saint Olaf student that will be attending a Utah Catholic High School. The scholarship recipient will be selected before and announced at graduation.

This difficult news comes at the end of a challenging week. Condolences and prayers for our community and the family of Father Rene Rodillas who passed away Friday, January 8th, 2021, as a result of complications from COVID-19. Father Rene was the pastor of our Saint Olaf Parish for 9 years from 2010-2019. He will always be remembered for his faith, joyful smile and love of singing.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break. We are looking forward to seeing you all on Monday morning, Jan 4th, when classes resume.

While this year's Christmas Program will look different than years past (2019 pictured here), it will be special in it's own way. Our thanks goes out to Mrs. and Ms. Dodge for their work in making this Christmas Program possible in 2020. We are looking forward to sharing with you virtually on Facebook Live. This month we are collecting funds for our own Saint Olaf Parish Council of Women. For $3, students may wear non-uniform clothes. You may be via cash or via Paypal under the Giving > Secure Online Donation tab.

This is always a favorite among Saint Olaf families as Mr. McFall gets in the spirit while celebrating Saint Nicholas Day. During carline he and his helpers passed out treats to our students and their families! We hope you enjoyed the morning.

The feast of Saint Nicholas is December 6th. St. Nicholas is known for selling all his possessions and giving his money to the poor. Raised as a devout Christian, St. Nicholas dedicated his whole life to serving the sick and suffering.

We continue week 2 of Advent. On the second Sunday of Advent, the Purple Bethlehem Candle is lit. This week our students will be focusing on LOVE:

As a reminder, this week we are collecting items for our Annual Council of Women Stocking Stuffer Drive. Items may be dropped off in carline. In partnership with the parish, this ministry event benefits the Catholic Community Homeless Services.
